Well, it’s not exactly a secret that you need to practice to improve your skills. We will work together and improve your skills as it goes ‘Nothing will work unless you do’.

Depending on your past skills, I teach or conduct workshops both online and at my Studio:

  • Drawing and Sketching using pencils
  • Drawing and coloring using color pencil, crayons
  • Painting using watercolor, acrylics and oils
  • Indian Folk Art like: Madhubani, Warli,
  • Art Therapy using doodles and Mandla

This is the most asked question we get at Art Mantra. The short answer is a Basic Drawing class. It is foundational for anyone interested in becoming a painter or an folk artist.

Registration to my drawing and painting classes can be done in person or by mail. We do register students over the phone but confirmation will be done only after transfer of registration fees.

I have private studio where I commission my paintings at residential apartment “The Solitaire Sunrise“, This apartment is near “Aradhana Gardens, on GMS Road, Dehradun. The location on Google Map is embedded on Contact Us page for you to find us.

Most classes do not have materials included in their tuition. Unless specifically noted in the class description, students are expected to bring their own supplies to class.

Each courses that I offer will have separate supply lists that will be needed to complete short term or long term classes. The list along with study material will be provided in softcopy to your email or WhatsApp on phone. The art material that I use, can be ordered online or you can get list of stores in Dehradun from where you can buy at reasonable prices.

Art Mantra being a private studio for me to paint, we are limited to only 4-6 students per class, so booking a place in advance for your children is essential

I have been teaching and conducting workshops for children and bigger children who are parents and working executives for past two decades, Our programme has been specifically designed to suit a mixed group of Children and they are only four to six of them to me. They learn well together and individually reach new levels as they progress through our curriculum.

All students must be on time, because by the time you end the next batch would be waiting hence you lose time allotted to you. Further more In the first 10 minutes of class we go through the Theory and the Technique, to achieve the best results in class. It is extremely important to come at least 5 minutes earlier.

Since based on course you have enrolled, normally you would have 8 to 10 classes in a month. Missing a class once a while is fine in cases of real exigencies, and since the courses are progressive you would not miss a lot. We would accommodate in compensatory classes later in same week or next week. If you are going on long vacation then it would be difficult to manage and we need to brush up on return.

Parents of enrolled child, if they would like to stay back depending on the strength of class are welcome to see their kids at work. there is parking space for two wheelers in my private parking and four wheel vehicle can be parked on main road.

Yes I do take limited amount of commissioned art work, People commission art for many reasons. For instance,

  • to pay tribute to their deceased relative,
  • to cherish and treasure their favorite family moments,
  • to adorn their living space with aesthetic landscapes,
  • to show their love for their favorite characters and personalities,
  • for business purposes like custom logos, book covers, or illustrations.

A commission typically starts with a conversation about your artistic vision, preferences, and specific requirements. We’ll discuss the subject matter, style, size, and desired medium. From there, I will provide a proposal with details on pricing, timeline, and terms.

I also conduct Art Therapy classes to help you with your hyper active child and even you. Art therapy uses art as the primary mode of expression, and aims to reduce distress and improve social, emotional and mental health by promoting insight, self-compassion and a sense of agency and self-worth.

Techniques used in art therapy can include:
